Late Night at the Museum  - May 19th – Back at our favourite Museum – Newcastle’s Discovery Museum, for an evening of late night performances and workshops – 7pm-11pm. See the venue for details.

Hartlepool Diamond Festival - June 2/3 – A daily programme of Street Theatre including acts from Stockton Youth Circus, a new Hartlepool-based crew and other Five Rings performers. Also don’t miss the Sunday night Diamond Cabaret programmed by Let’s Circus including The Space Cowboy, Swizzleshaker, Ruff Diamond, Trinity Acrobats, Iona the Contortionist and compere Martin ‘Bigpig’ Mor. Sunday 7pm. Ticketed event.

Cultureshock Festival - June 23, Harrogate, North Yorkshire. A favourite event of the year – North Yorkshire’s flagship youth arts festival. Festival premiere of The Five Ring Performance Troupe!

Duck Day – Greenheads, Northumbria – July 29 - The Five Ring Circus take over Duck Day in the rural village of Greenheads. Performances, games, street theatre, workshops and the biggest small town duck race you’ve never seen!

Stockton International Riverside Festival – August 2-5th, Stockton. Opportunity for 17+ youth and adults to fly from a crane with Spanish company La Fura del Baus. Details to be confirmed. Also hoping to include a Five Ring Circus Cabaret at the festival again!

Play Festival, Mid Wales – August 15-19. The Five Ring Performance Troupe’s first ‘International’ performance engagement!

Still @ The Alnwick Garden –  August 19-26th. An exciting Let’s Circus project of Human Sculpture – see www.letscircus.com for details.

Streets of Durham – Dates tbc, expected to be August 25-27. Details tbc – expected to include street theatre mentoring programme, youth performance opportunities and crew volunteering.

NE GEN Collective Event - Sep 1-2, Details to be announced. A showcase of the NE-Gen family of projects

What else in 2012? A return of some favourite international artists including Witty Look, Spaghetti Circus, Massi and Annabel, JP Mckendry and loads more. New festivals, new cities, new performances and new toys

Circadium – Feb 11-12 - Another great event in The Great Hall. 900 people through the doors over the weekend, every one of them participating in circus. Well done Five Rings

October 15+16, 2011 - Durham Juggling Convention and Youth Circus gathering

A really successful event that drew youth circus groups from Blackpool, Sheffield, Wales, North Yorkshire and all across the North East. For the first time ever the convention featured a youth circus show that was produced, managed and performed entirely by the Five Ring Circus.
