UK Youth Circus Event – Feb 13-15, Wookey Hole Somerset. Four of our leading students will be selected for this great national gathering

National Youth Circus Event – Feb 17-19, Circus Space – London. A different four of our leading students will be selected for another great national gathering

Cultureshock Festival - June 23, Harrogate, North Yorkshire. A favourite event of the year – North Yorkshire’s flagship youth arts festival

NE GEN Collective EventSep 1-2, Details to be announced. A showcase of the NE-Gen family of projects

Mouth of Tyne Festival – July 6-8, North and South Tyneside. Our local international Street Theatre and Circus Festival. Hoping to include a Five Ring Circus presence.

Stockton International Riverside Festival – August 2-5th, Stockton. Details to be confirmed. Hoping to include a Five Ring Circus Cabaret and more!

Streets of DurhamDates tbc, expected to be August 25-27. Details tbc – expected to include street theatre mentoring programme, youth performance opportunities and crew volunteering.

What else in 2012? A return of some favourite international artists including Witty Look, Spaghetti Circus, Massi and Annabel, JP Mckendry and loads more. New festivals, new cities, new performances and new toys :)

Past Events

October 15+16, 2011 - Durham Juggling Convention and Youth Circus gathering

A really successful event that drew youth circus groups from Blackpool, Sheffield, Wales, North Yorkshire and all across the North East. For the first time ever the convention featured a youth circus show that was produced, managed and performed entirely by the Five Ring Circus.
